What's new in FortiAP-C version 5.4.3

The following list includes new features and enhancements in FortiAP-C version 5.4.3:

  • Supports broadcast and multicast suppression.
  • Supports DFS channels on FAP-C24JE in Brazil.
  • Supports layer-3 wireless access control list (FortiGate needs FortiOS 6.4.0 and later).
  • Supports LAN port MAC-address authentication, RADIUS accounting and dynamic VLAN ID assignment (FortiGate needs FortiOS 7.0.0 and later).
  • Supports "SKIP CAPWAP Offload" flag in CAPWAP header of certain packets as required by new FortiGate models with NP7 acceleration module.
  • Supports FAP-C24JE units with a new NAND flash installed.
