Enabling auto-cache

Enabling auto-cache

You can enable auto-cache to reduce report generation time for reports that require a long time to assemble datasets. For information about auto-cache and hcache, see How auto-cache works.

You can see the status of building the cache in Reports > Report Definitions > All Reports in the Cache Status column.

To enable auto-cache:
  1. Go to Reports > Report Definitions > All Reports.
  2. Select the report from the list, and click Edit in the toolbar.
  3. In the Settings tab, select the Enable Auto-cache checkbox.
  4. Click Apply.
