Data management

FortiAnalyzer-BigData manages the disk space via Storage Groups and the Data page contains a table listing all Storage Groups. By default, FortiAnalyzer-BigData is shipped with default "Root" storage group.

The Storage Group table contains the following columns:

Column header

Description

Storage Group

The name of storage group.

You can expand each storage group to display all the ADOMs in that group.

Status

Indicates the status of the storage group.

  • Ready: The storage group is ready for use.
  • In Progress: The storage group is being created and is not yet ready for use.
  • Failed: The storage group creation failed.

ADOMs

The number of ADOMs in that storage group.

Data Usage

How much data is in use.

Actions

You can perform the following actions on a storage group:

  • Manage Data Lifecycle: Determine how long you want to store the data, and when to do a data rollover. For more information, see Manage data lifecycle.
  • Manage Job: Manage jobs in that storage group.
  • Backup: Create a backup of that storage group.
  • Restore: Restore data.
