Changing administrative access
Administrative access defines the protocols that can be used to connect to the FortiAnalyzer through an interface. The available options are: HTTPS, HTTP, PING, SSH, SNMP, Web Service, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer Fabric.
To change administrative access:
- Go to System Settings > Network and click All Interfaces. The interface list opens.
- Double-click on a port, right-click on a port then select Edit from the pop-up menu, or select a port then click Edit in the toolbar. The Edit System Interface pane is displayed.
- Select one or more access protocols for the interface for Administrative Access and IPv6 Administrator Access, as required.
- Click OK to apply your changes.
The following access protocols are available on FortiAnalyzer:

Allows SSH access through the interface. |

Allows a remote SNMP manager to request SNMP information by connecting to this interface. |

Web Service
|
Allows FortiAnalyzer to be accessed by the XML API through the interface. The FortiManager XML API can be used to retrieve information about managed devices and perform actions such as modifying device configurations using the API. |
